Boston Blasted, by Sue

It’s been a busy two days! Yesterday we spent much of the morning following Boston’s Freedom Trail, seeing sights of historical interest. It was a hot, humid day and by the time we got back to the hotel the girls were ready to rest while Jim, Judy and I visited the Museum of Fine Arts.

Today we took a train out to Salem, Massachusetts. Salem was the home to the 1692 witch trials. It also has a long history of shipping and a little piracy. Audrey and Natalie took a tour of a replica of an old trip and took several silly pictures of the ship and the pirates that might have hungered for its contents.

Tomorrow we’re all splitting up. Jim and Judy are going back to Denver, Audrey is going to Asheville and Natalie and I are leaving for New York City and the Pod Hotel. Boston has been fun!
